She was designed by Arthur Shuman Jr. and built in 1938 by the Britt Brothers in Saugus, Mass. USA.
French & Webb of Belfast, Maine, USA, did the last restoration in 2009. A new mast was built by Technique Greement in France in 2009.
The boat is traditional in looks with a spoon bow, round bilge, full keel with attached rudder and transom stern.
Topsides/bottom of boat is 3/4 carved planked Mahogany and frames are steamed bent oak along with some laminated timbers.
